Do I have to become a registered vendor with the government to win a contract?

For most federal government contracts, a business must meet at least two requirements:

1. Obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, which is a unique nine-digit identification number for each physical location of a business, available at Dun & Bradstreet or expedited through us here.

2. Register with the government’s System for Award Management (SAM) or through us here.
